About us

  1. What is Kiwanis?

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis Clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Each community’s needs are different — so each Kiwanis Club is different. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis Club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$107 million every year for communities, families, and projects. Kiwanis' web-site can be found at www.kiwanis.org with overviews of international and domestic partnerships.

  2. What is a Young Professionals Club?

A Young Professional Kiwanis Club has a focus to cater to young people who are too busy to devote time into a traditional Kiwanis club. At the same time you can still devote some time in doing real community service as well as network with others. Members of young professional Kiwanis Clubs are young people starting out in different fields that want to make a difference in the world. Young Professional Kiwanians perform community service that meets the needs of children and their communities; network with other young professionals throughout the country; form friendships with others through happy hours and other social events; travel and meet other Kiwanians; and, most importantly, have fun through the vehicle of service.

  3. How many Kiwanis Clubs are there?

There are more than 8,400 Kiwanis clubs with nearly 280,000 members in 96 nations and geographic areas.

If you join, there can be nearly 280,001 members...one CAN make a difference and Kiwanis is a great way to do such!
